Born in Brest in 1989, Caroline Mesquita lives and works in Marseille. Her practice, anchored in sculpture, installation and film, unfolds a world inhabited by hybrid figures, sentient machines and bodies in mutation. She constructs visual narratives in which metal, shaped by direct physical engagement, becomes organic matter, a living, almost carnal surface.
