On 19 December 2024, Vanity Fair published its list of the 25 new faces who will shape 2025: twenty-five personalities under 30, from a NASA engineer to a designer who dresses Rihanna, alongside actors, chefs, lawyers and artists. The list also appears in the magazine's February 2025 issue, under the title “Les 25 talents qui vont faire 2025”.
Nathan Chiche features as a gallerist, aged 24. The profile recalls his first finds as a collector, from the age of 13, following in the footsteps of his mother, a gallerist: a gouache by Sonia Delaunay, then a Chagall, a book of Napoleon's, an inscription by Apollinaire. Ten years later, an advertisement on Leboncoin led him to Jean Prouvé's school in Vantoux, where he opened his gallery in May 2024.
The magazine highlights his ambition to bring the architecture of the building into dialogue with the works and to create a cultural route with the Centre Pompidou-Metz, the Frac Lorraine and the collections of Luxembourg and Belgium. It also notes a choice that runs against custom: rather than starting with emerging artists, the gallerist opened with Jean-Pierre Raynaud and Mircea Cantor.
