The article
Published on 17 May 2024, the same day as the report on the inauguration, this second article by Lisa Lagrange on the website of Le Républicain Lorrain is devoted to Jean-Pierre Raynaud and his relationship with Jean Prouvé. The title takes up the words of the artist, who presents himself as the architect's guest.
The freely accessible part looks back at Thursday 16 May: the mayor of Vantoux, Antoine Dorr, saw a whole coachload of journalists arrive from Paris, and the two gallerists, mother and son, had invited the artist to come and talk about his work and about this first “encounter” with the work of Prouvé, whom he has long admired.
