The article
In “Esprit week-end”, the outings guide of Les Échos Week-End, Ludovic Bischoff and Alice d'Orgeval include the opening of Galerie Nathan Chiche among their suggestions across France. This short entry places the gallery in a former school designed by Jean Prouvé and inaugurated in 1951 in Vantoux, near Metz, in a rural setting.
The authors see in it a testimony to the architect's vision and invite visitors to look at the building, with its industrial aesthetic, as much as at the contemporary art it houses. The opening exhibition brings together vanitas pieces by Jean-Pierre Raynaud, presented as a dialogue between space and time, until 26 August.
